Cardi B is so amusing!

The Bodak Yellow rapper appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (20Dec17) and explained the origins of her now famous nom de plume.

Cardi B, who recently got engaged to Migos' Offset, also spoke to Fallon about her plans for Christmas. "I got new godkids outta nowhere".

"You know what, my sister name is Hennessy, so everybody used to call be Bacardi", the 25-year-old rapper told Fallon. I don't want to have three kids that got to share one room. "You know, once you start making money, everybody wants you to be their kids' godmother".

The "Bodak Yellow" singer exploded onto the music scene in June of this year and now reigns as the first hip-hop artist whose first three singles are simultaneously in the top 10.

"I did a verse to somebody's song, and other artists were on the song as well", she said during an Instagram Live session. From the very beginning, Jimmy seemed to have no idea how to speak to her, perhaps realizing that nothing he could say would top her spontaneous little noises.

Speaking of jewelry, Cardi also gushed about her 8-karat engagement ring, which her fiancé Offset gave her during a concert earlier this year. "No, cause you wanna know something?". "I mean, I heard that, and I was like, 'Brrrr!'" "I already feel like a victor", said Cardi. If you follow her on Instagram-which you absolutely should do-she has probably the most hilarious 'grams on the platform. And it feels good because I really worked my ass off for it. Like, I already won.
