THE Action Democratic Party, ADP, has sympathised with President Muhammadu Buhari and his family over the bike accident involving his only son, Yusuf.

The latest is the dissatisfaction of President Buhari with his security officials, as he was reportedly angry with them for allowing his son to leave home around 8pm on Tuesday to go and ride power bike.

The prayer session, which was held immediately after the afternoon (Zuhr) prayer, was led by the Chief Imam of Aso Rock Mosque, Abdulwahid Suleiman.

He also prayed for peace, tranquillity and progress to reign supreme in the country.

Rumours were rife on Thursday morning that Yusuf was flown to Germany for treatment but spokesman for the president, Garba Shehu, dismissed the rumours.

He has never hit the 20-goal mark for the club, with his best return being 19 in 53 appearances in the 2014-15 campaign. Conte added, "It is important to try and improve your team, to strengthen and not to sell the best players".

Cedacrest is said to be the only orthopaedic specialist hospital in Abuja.

"From the way the president spoke, it appears the security aides are in trouble".

"Our thoughts are with the first family - our family will be praying for you. We pray Yusuf makes a speedy and full recovery", APC said.

The statement said, "We are however reassured by reports from the Presidency that he is in a steady condition". May the healing hands of the Almighty God be upon the young man and may God be with the first family at this trying time.

Although there are certain reports that Yusuf was riding a power bike at top speed.
