As early as last March, the pop star hinted that new music was "on the way".

"This song should be played very loud", Justin told fans via the single artwork.

This marks the first of four singles he plans to release ahead of his fourth studio album, Man of the Woods, dropping February 2.

That's the smell of Justin Timberlake crouching in the woods, growing stronger by the day. "Filthy", which is co-written and co-produced by JT, Timbaland, and Danja, dropped today, January 5, and we're already obsessed.

The follow-up to 2013's The 20/20 Experience is set to feature a fusion of "traditional American rock with modern influences", with contributions from Timbaland, Pharrell, Chris Stapleton, and Alicia Keys.

Passengers on this flight got to experience the New Year-moment twice
It sounds like the stuff of science fiction, but for passengers aboard Hawaiian Airlines Flight 446 that's exactly what they did . The anomaly was noticed by an American journalist which, even though quite common, amazed Twitter.

He'll be releasing three more videos in the run up to his album release.

On 4th February, Timberlake will be headlining the Super Bowl LII halftime show in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Let us know what you think in the poll below.

The initial promotion for Man of the Woods clearly aims to create an image of an earthy, rugged Justin Timberlake, one who longs for the simplicity of life in the great outdoors. A video for "Filthy" was also released, with an homage to Apple creator Steve Jobs and AI technology. A new album, The 20/20 Experience, followed in March of that year.
