According to Site, a USA monitoring agency that keeps track of jihadi platforms, the 22-minute video shows a man, identified as Abu Kazem al-Maqdisi, urging Islamic followers in Gaza to mount attacks on Hamas.

"Maqdisi, who hails from Gaza and is now an Isis preacher in Sinai, said in the footage: "[Hamas] uses its smuggled weapons to empower that which was not revealed by God. "No food, no water, no security, no border crossings, no education and no health", he told AFP.

This announcement also sparked protests from Muslims all over the world where the United States government said that it was upending its foreign policy in the Middle East. Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of Palestine, has noted that the announcement by president Trump had disqualified the U.S. as a lead mediator in the peace process between Israel and Palestine.

"Even if the flawed decision to supply less than maximum capacity is reversed, Israel must work to increase supply in cooperation with all responsible parties to resolve Gaza's continued electricity crisis without delay", the group added on its website.

The unnamed official was responding to threats made by Trump on Tuesday to cut USA aid to the Palestinian Authority since it is "no longer willing to talk peace".

That may not sound so bad for Republicans, considering there are now 23 GOP members in Clinton districts. In 2011, Issa said President Trump "may or may not" be right about Obama's birth certificate.

The current crisis began last June after Ramallah said it would stop paying its share of Gaza's electricity bill, which amounted to about NIS 40 million a month.

In April, Abbas announced he was cancelling the guarantee, part of a bid to press Hamas to loosen its hold over the enclave.

Since US president Donald Trump's unilateral decision on December 6 that saw the United States officially recognize Jerusalem as the "capital of Israel", Israeli troops have kidnapped at least 750 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, and killed sixteen.

On Tuesday, Breitbart Jerusalem Bureau Chief Aaron Klein applauded Trump's threat to cut Palestinian aid, saying that the PA is an "anti-Western" entity that supports terrorism and incites violence against Israel. Palestinian officials say he was shot by a sniper during clashes with Israeli forces. An Israeli military spokeswoman said it is investigating whether the teen was holding a firearm, a claim witnesses and medics deny.
