Iraqi policemen arrest three IS terrorists in Kirkuk Iraq condemns German woman to death for belonging to Islamic State

The Central Criminal Court in Baghdad sentenced a German national woman of Moroccan origin to death by hanging for joining the jihadist group Daesh in Syria and Iraq. Upon reaching the group, both of her daughters married ISIS members.

The woman, who has not been named but is said to be of Moroccan descent, was captured during the battle for Mosul past year.

A British woman who married and gave birth under the Islamic State regime in Syria has become one of the first so-called jihadi brides to be arrested on her return to the United Kingdom, a media report has claimed.

Iraqi forces have claimed victory over Islamic State but there is still plenty of cleaning up to do.

He added that the woman had admitted during interrogation that she joined IS after traveling from Germany to Syria and then to Iraq along with her two daughters.

"The woman is accused of providing logistical support to the terrorist organization and helped them to commit their criminal acts".

A GERMAN woman who joined ISIS with her two daughters will become the first European woman executed in Iraq for helping the death cult.

At least two other German women are also in prison in Iraq, whose authorities have not officially said how many jihadists were taken prisoner during the battle against IS.

Another German female, teenager Linda Wenzel, was arrested in Mosul at the same time for belonging to IS.

She is one of hundreds of foreign jihadists held by Iraqi authorities, who in December announced the defeat of IS after a gruelling three-year battle. However, the terror group continues to carry out bombings and other attacks in the country.
