On May 22 previous year, 23 people were killed and over 500 were injured at a Ariana Grande concert in Manchester when an Islamist terrorist detonated a homemade bomb.

Musicians who performed at the Las Vegas musical festival that became the scene of the deadliest mass shooting in USA history paid tribute to the shooting victims at the Grammy Awards Sunday night.

"A few months earlier and a continent away, the same was true in Manchester, England".

In those two attacks, 81 people were murdered while simply trying to enjoy live music.
