The update was shared on official Twitter account of Yakuza game. A representative for the company confirmed to Polygon that, just like the old launch date, the new one applies in both North America and Europe.

The Song of Life, the next entry into the Sega's Yakuza series, has been available in Japan since December of 2016.

The Russians said that some 30 rebels died in an attack in the area where the plane was downed. Rebel forces in Syria shot down a Russian fighter jet over the Idlib province on Saturday.

Yakuza 6 is supposedly the final instalment in the adventures of series' protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, and is set immediately after the events of Yakuza 5. This 2018, SEGA promised the launch of the most awaited "Yakuza 6: The Song of Life" in North America and Europe on March 20, but the company made a decision to move back the release to April 17 with no detailed explanation. Sega also says that they will be revealing more information about the game in the coming weeks.

On the plus side, said Sega, pushing back the game "gives us more time to line things up for launch". It's not that big of a push, thankfully, and the good news is that you'll actually get to play the game even sooner than you originally thought. March is so filled to the brim with high-profile releases, it would likely cause gamers to have to choose specific titles due to budget reasons. Sega will be releasing a demo for the game on February 27 that will let users bring their saves into the main game. Players will follow various activities in the open world game.
