The Falcon Heavy core booster for instance missed its sea-based target and pretty much wrecked it in the process.

Last week's Falcon Heavy launch saw the two side boosters come down side by side at Landing Zones 1 and 2 at Cape Canaveral, while the middle booster attempted an ultimately unsuccessful landing on Of Course I Still Love You. Instead of a gentle glide, it slammed into the ocean at around 300 miles per hour, just over 300 feet from the floating platform.

Musk took to Twitter on Monday morning to give a few more updates on the Falcon Heavy's first flight.

Musk tweeted recently that the two engines failed to fire because they ran out of ignition fluid.

According to the SpaceX boss, it was simply down to the fact there there was a shortage of ignition fluid.

The Algerian saw a deadline day move to the opposing side fall through and he only returned to training with the club on Friday. And Puel claimed both he and the Algeria worldwide will not focus their efforts on the rest of the season without any issues.

Musk also said a third floating platform, which the company calls a drone ship, is under construction to aid in first-stage recoveries for Falcon 9 and "dual ocean landings" for future Falcon Heavy side boosters. SpaceX's other two drone ships -"Of Course I Still Love You" and "Just Read The Instructions" - are also named for ships mentioned in Banks' Culture novels. SpaceX's third ship, named Just Read the Instructions, is now operational at the West Coast is used for rocket launches from Vandenberg Air Force Base. SpaceX has another drone ship with metal arms meant to catch the payload fairing, costing about $5 million, before they fall into the ocean and are lost to the depths.

While you can not now watch a live-stream of the Tesla Roadster, there is still a final chance to see it and the Starman before they completely disappear from view.

"It's kind of silly and fun, but silly and fun things are important", Musk said.

On Feb. 6, the Falcon Heavy's maiden launch captured the attention of people everywhere. SpaceX could try to capture a falling Falcon rocket fairing sometime this year, he added.

SpaceX teams at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, meanwhile, are targeting no earlier than 12:35 a.m. on February 22 for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 40. The Falcon Heavy, a derivative of the smaller Falcon 9 that has been carrying cargo to the International Space Station for years, will be able to carry twice the payload of its nearest current competitor, up to 64 tons, at about one-tenth the cost. The company's next launch is scheduled for Saturday (Feb. 17) from Vandenberg Air Force Base. It has many private-sector uses, including communications satellites.
