"Entertainment Tonight", which reported that the arrest had occurred in Seminole, Florida, which is in Pinellas County, said that according to the police report, Gordon's girlfriend, Laura Leal, said she was driving Gordon home from a bar when he struck her repeatedly on the right side of her cheek and pulled her hair.

He was, of course, well-known for being the former boyfriend of Bobby Brown and acclaimed singer Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who died in 2015. The alleged altercation is being listed as a domestic violence case and he posted $500 bond, but he still has not been released.

Meanwhile, Gordon was ordered to pay $36 million to Brown's estate in 2016 months after being found legally responsible for her death.

According to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ, Gordon told cops his girlfriend refused to leave his residence after throwing a bottle at him and ripping his shirt.

"I didn't hit her", Gordon told deputies. Gordon claimed Leal attacked him for no reason, and that she is "crazy", though he did not want to pursue any charges against her. Gordon also stated that the two had been drinking alcohol. Those charged were dropped when the woman refused to cooperate with police.

Beyond that, authorities have been pretty tight-lipped about what led to this apparent domestic violence situation.

An autopsy revealed a slew of drugs in her system that Brown's family pinned on Gordon, claiming he fed her a "toxic cocktail" and placed her in the tub.

Brown told Rolling Stone that the wrongful death lawsuit wasn't enough and he wanted to see Gordon punished.

'If he was locked up somewhere where somebody can rape him, that's just how I feel.
