A small plane crashed and killed at least two people in New York on Saturday, CBS New York reports.

The plane belonged to Ben and Bonnie Krupinski of East Hampton, who were on board when the the Piper PA31Navajo aircraft went down, according to 27 East Hamptons News.

East Hampton Town Police identified the four victims in the crash as Krupinski, his wife Bonnie Bistrian Krupinski, and 22-year-old grandson William Maerov, all of East Hampton, as well as the pilot Jon Dollard, 47, of Hampton Bays.

The crash reportedly occurred during a storm that prevented the plane from staying in contact with an airport control tower.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate, along with local authorities, and the NTSB will determine the cause of the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration said the aircraft went down around 3:20 p.m. Saturday, approximately two miles off the shore near Indian Wells Beach in Amagansett.
