EA have announced a sequel to 2016's Unravel which is available now, while dropping details of their next original Sea Of Solitude. The game is under the company's EA Originals label and it is being developed with small indie studio Jo-Mei Games.

The title is now in development by Berlin team Jo-Mei.

In response, they circulated an internal letter , arguing that "Google should not be in the business of war". AI projects need to "be socially beneficial" and "avoid creating or reinforcing unfair bias".

As developer Cornelia Geppert explained on-stage at EA Play, Sea of Solitude tells a deeply personal story set in a world where, "when humans get too lonely, they turn in monsters".

The game is already featured on EA's website, and the theme of loneliness is reiterated there. That's what happened to Kay. Kay must explore a partially submerged city in order to find the cure for herself, and possibly everyone else as well. How can she return to being human? Given what unfolds in the first teaser trailer below, this seems to be a fair assessment of Sea of Solitude. Previously, Sea of Solitude had not been confirmed for specific platforms, but with today's E3 information, we can confirm Xbox One is among the confirmed platforms to release in early 2019.
