After months of grumbling, Donald Trump has finally met Queen Elizabeth II.

"Given Trump's appalling actions and rhetoric, he doesn't even deserve to look at a statue of Churchill let alone sit in his seat". Here's what happened at Windsor!

Demonstrators plan to mock U.S. President Donald Trump with a giant balloon depicting him as a screaming orange baby as tens of thousands march through the streets of London to protest the American leader's visit to the United Kingdom.

There will be no carriage procession and no opulent state banquet, and Buckingham Palace said no other members of the royal family will call in to Windsor to meet the billionaire-turned-politician.

The fact of the matter is that the Queen of England stood on that stage alone, for. a while, which many noted is highly unusual.

Trump's first visit to Britain as president was not the full state visit he was originally promised, but he was heralded by military bands on his arrival at Windsor, before he and First Lady Melania went into the castle for tea with the queen.

The Queen, who is used to inspecting her guards, appeared to leave him behind before she spurred him into movement again with a swift hand gesture.

Trump made a MAJOR faux pas.

England coach Gareth Southgate praised Kane, who is two goals ahead of Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku for the Golden Boot. When the final whistle blew, the Croatians ran straight to their fans, jumping into the sea of red and white.

He also followed her lead as she walked them around the castle during a lavish pomp and pageantry display.

One person wrote on Twitter: "How are you not gonna bow to the Queen?". Actually, that's just polite when interacting with any elderly woman, to be honest.

His gaffes were slammed on social media, with Joanna Gasiorowska, Al Jazeera senior sports presenter tweeting, 'I can't even watch this...

In a bombshell interview, which was published in The Sun tabloid newspaper on Friday, Trump said: "I think he has done a very bad job on terrorism". You don't see, like, anything embarrassing.

Ahead of his visit to the UK Mr Trump told the Sun that The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan was accountable for the terror attacks in London.

Prior to setting foot on British soil, he will take part in a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in Brussels - where his status as Commander in Chief of US Armed Forces will be front and centre.

Queen Elizabeth II, who is now 92, has sat on the throne for 66 years.

During the course of her reign The Queen has met eleven serving US Presidents.
