Customers who buy a Note 9 or Tab S4 will get a special Galaxy skin.

The Samsung DeX interface isn't otherwise particularly better or more advanced with the Galaxy Note 9 than it was before.

What won't be a surprise, because it just leaked again, is the new S Pen. This time around, as previously rumoured, Samsung has equipped a Bluetooth capable S Pen. Bixby is created to get to know you. Users can install the game in the Samsung Game Launcher app.

This stylus-equipped device, which follows the Note 8 from a year ago and the explosive (quite literally) Note 7 before that, arrives with some key differences that sets it apart from its predecessor, including a new processor, an improved and manual dual aperture rear camera, bolstered battery life, repositioned fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers tuned by AKG, and, surprisingly, a body that's bigger. The company has focused a lot on the Galaxy Note 9, choosing to focus on the specifics and how they combine for a better experience.

The Note 9 also includes a wealth of software integration and improvements.

Samsung has nabbed the exclusive Android release of popular survival game Fortnite as part of the launch for its Note 9 phablet, which the company is marketing as a premium phone for gamers.

The device comes in a fantastic high-end variant that features 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Samsung is pushing this watch's health features, which go beyond simple activity-tracking (though it does that, too).

Although Samsung is now selling the Note 8 for £769 on its website, Express.co.uk found the phablet on Amazon for £588.99. The dual-camera setup is still placed horizontally and it comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted right below it.

To function as a remote, the stylus must be charged, but that process takes less than 30 seconds and simply requires that you return the pen to the storage compartment inside the phone. This is the largest yet on a Samsung flagship and it's 700mAh more than the Galaxy Note8 and 500mAh more than the Galaxy S9+. The wireless charging pad might be less of a heavy investment if this is going to be a constant-use device.

There's also been an upgrade in the camera department.

The American version of the Note 9 will be available in two colors: an "Ocean Blue" with a contrasting yellow S Pen and a "Lavender Purple" with a matching S Pen. Not unlike the Huawei P20 Pro's Master AI feature, Scene Optimiser lets the Note 9 recognise and enhance up to 20 different scenes.

In addition to the new phone, Samsung unveiled several new products, including a new Galaxy Watch. However, if battery life and more storage are more important to you, the Galaxy Note9 with 128GB storage at RM3,699 is still worth the extra topup.
