Bizarre: Virat Kohli asks fan to leave India over minor reason
10 November, 2018, 03:09
The last few hours is all about Virat Kohli's reply to the fan, where he asked fan to leave India. While responding to mean memes, he read out a fan's comment that stated, "Over-rated batsman and personally I see nothing special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more". He is also the only player in the country who rests from nearly every other tournament the team participates in. He said, "I don't think you should live in India. Get your priorities right", Kohli said, reacting to the fan's message.
As it turns out, the Committee of Administrators - a two-member panel appointed by the Supreme Court to oversee the operations of the BCCI - have promised to look into the controversial video that is doing rounds on social media.
Kohli lost his cool after reading the message and slammed the fan for his comment. I loved to watch Sunil Gavaskar bat, but also loved watching (Gordon) Greenidge, (Desmond) Haynes and Viv Richards.
This statement did not go down well with Twitter users, many of whom attacked Kohli for his harsh statement. Kapil Dev on song was a delight to watch as were (Richard) Hadlee, (Ian) Botham and Imran (Khan).

On Wednesday, Virat Kohli found himself in a bit of a spot after a video of him telling a fan to leave the country for liking England and Australian cricketers went viral on the internet. The BCCI's revenue will fall, and consequently the players' fees. "He hasn't used a BCCI platform so that's also an issue", the official added.
He has been rested from the ongoing T20I series against the West Indies, but was in top form in the Test and ODI series that preceded shortest format.
